Dirk Benedict: 'A Team' Was One of the Last Masculine Shows on Television

I ever watched the A Team television series but  Dirk Benedict sounds pretty solid for a guy coming out of Hollywood. He talks television and how television has become feminized. He also talks about the suspicious death of George Peppard and the likelihood that it was the hospital treatment that killed him.

Benedict played the character Lieutenant Templeton "Faceman" Peck in The A-Team series.

  1. Dirk Benedict hated the newer Battlestar Galactica in deference to the one in which he starred. This gives me pause concerning his judgment.

    2. There's another Battlestar Gallactica and Dirk Benedict played in it? I don't think I was born back then.

    3. The new BSG is a very different dark science fiction compared to the happy and campy original.

There are a lot of people in this world who don't like both of these types of science fiction. There's nothing wrong with like the campy type but hating the dark/serious type.

    4. The newer BG was just an excuse for Hollywood to shove a political message & analogy down viewers throats (war on terrorism etc). I'm sick and tired of soapbox TV. I switched it off permanently after 2 seasons.
All the flash did not make the newer version better than the first. It just covered up the tired formula of infesting tv shows or movies with real world political analogies.

  2. The new Battlestar Galactica had hotter chicks, but the old series was better.
