I have read a a couple thousand Near Death Experiences and the common thread in almost all of them is that God indeed lets you understand everything, its only when we are human that we understand next to nothing.
That's also common to LSD experiences. Of course, once sober, the experiencer no longer "understands everything." Nor does the person who had a NDE. This should make a thinking person skeptical of the claim.
The fact that NDEs typically map to a person's culture, i.e. Buddhists have similar NDEs, Christians have similar NDEs, etc., should also cast doubt on the experience. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Have you ever experienced LSD edward? Ram Dass says LSD forever changed his understanding. His life would be a testament to that. Ever heard of an politician getting busted for using LSD? Alcohol, pills, and coke, sure, but LSD? It takes away the desire to control others.
Robert Wenzel is the cult leader. Chris Rossini is his right hand man, it's obvious. They are working to create a revolution, which is what all cult leaders do, right?
Awful, just awful people....spreading the message of freedom and whatnot.
They should be fed to 120 starving dogs, while many people watch. I'm not sure where that idea came from....
What ever happened to "ignorance is bliss". The more you understand, the more you realize how screwed up things are. People with mental retardation seem to be a lot happier than everyone else.
Which is why Krauthammer is going to Hell: even if God let him understand everything, he'd still block out what he doesn't want to hear.
ReplyDeleteThen Bill Buckley must certainly be in Hell too. OMG, I'd best repent now. Can you imagine eternity with that blowhard?
DeleteHow boring would that be, though? Why not enjoy learning forever?

ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of understanding everything if you can't use it to change anything?
