Matt Taibbi Quits Rolling Stone, Joins Glenn Greenwald

I am not impressed with this hire. Taibbi spins out a leftist slant to his coverage of crony-Wall Street.

Taibbi will be based in New York City. The name and launch date of his digital magazine will be announced in the coming months. First Look Media's first online publication, The Intercept, led by Glenn Greenwald, Laura Poitras, and Jeremy Scahill, launched on February 10.

  1. Glenn Greenwald, Jeremy Scahill, now Matt Taibbi. You know, it's almost as if they are gathering all the most effective critics of the Administration in one organization for something nefarious. I'm both highly excited and a little worried.

    1. Im just plain 'ol excited. It will be nice to not have a CFR member or Bilderberg participant 'informing' me for a change. Maybe we can get down to the true horrors of our geopolitical and economic system. My only concern is for their lives as we continue to slip down the "journalistic freedom" list. Im guessing well hit in the 70's next year as the hammer drops on these folks.

  2. It depends on what he will be covering. He is entertaining when covering politics.

  3. Agree... Taibbi's yet another lefty who conflates crony capitalism with real free markets.
