PBS Show 'Frontline" Putting Together Story on Ron Paul Inc.

EPJ has learned that Frontline, the investigative show aired on PBS, is putting together a show on Ron Paul Inc.

It is not clear the complete direction the show will take, but it appears that the show may focus on the alleged secret payoffs made to Kent Sorenson that involved Ron Paul Campaign 2012 deputy national campaign manager Dimitri Kesari.  Another direction the show may go in is with regard to various alleged illegal campaign efforts by the National Right to Work organization, which has strong ties to several people in Ron Paul Inc.

EPJ has also learned that the Washington DC grand jury investigating Kent Sorenson and parts of Ron Paul Inc continues to hear testimony this week. Apparently the government has flow in some witnesses from Iowa to testify before the grand jury and that other witnesses are from the general vicinity of Washington D.C.

EPJ first broke news of the grand jury investigation here: EPJ Exclusive: Washington D.C. Grand Jury Investigating Activities Surrounding Ron Paul Inc.

Several members in and around Ron Paul  Inc have lawyered up. Brace yourself, this is going to get real ugly. But please keep in mind that Ron Paul Inc and Ron Paul are two different things and that Ron Paul Inc. Ron Paul is a man of principle. Ron Paul Inc is filled with political operatives that do ugly political things. MSM will attempt to paint them as one in the same.

  1. Too bad they are focusing on the corruption inside the campaign of the only honest man in Washington, a guy who lost, instead of the corruption within the two winners. I guess that could bring down the whole system...

I hope it also shows the other side, where the Romney campaign pulled some questionable maneuvers in the Republican primary against Paul's grassroots. I doubt it though.

I contend this show could be about any of the major campaigns and would show the same grime underneath. Therefore I am not thrilled they have chosen Ron Paul's historic run to highlight campaign corruption. Could the MSM be tarring Ron Paul's 2012 legacy- where it's lasting memory is not the revival of the libertarian peace movement but this?

  2. Ron Paul Inc. should go to jail for blowing $35 million after which the public still does not grasp that inflation is a purposeful government program and not a mysterious force of nature.

  3. When will PBS air a show on "Fast and Furious" or the other dozen or so regime scandals? How about a critical story on Soros? Or one on the Fed?

Don't answer. I know how the rigged system works.

Where Have All the Lobbyists Gone?

On paper, the influence-peddling business is drying up. But lobbying money is flooding Washington, DC like never before. What’s going on?

I returned to a computer later that day and pulled up the lobbyist-registration database to run the few names I had managed to write down. In theory, lobbyists are required to register under the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) to give the public some idea about who is attempting to influence the laws and regulations that govern us. To my surprise, however, Wamp and most of the others were nowhere to be found. (Palantir’s corporate counsel, Matt Long, would not comment on what Wamp does for the company.)

Daschle, a “policy adviser” to a range of corporate interests and a close confidant of many top Democrats, has become one of the most famous unregistered lobbyists in the city. In fact, his escapades as a consigliere and go-between for business leaders and politicians, including President Obama, are so well known that among ethics watchdogs, the technicality in the law that allows lobbyists to evade registration has become known as the “Daschle Loophole.”
