Jimmy Carter Uses ‘Snail-Mail’ to Thwart NSA

During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former President Jimmy Carter said:
I have felt that my own communications were probably monitored. When I want to communicate with a foreign leader privately, I type or write the letter myself, put it in the Post Office and mail it, because I believe if I send an email, it will be monitored.

  1. Leader? What is that?
    Is that for little people?

  2. What a hilarious thing to do, Carter. To avoid government monitoring, he uses the government controlled mail service. Brilliant. At least use a third party to provide the illusion of privacy.

  5. The only foreign leader Jimmy ever writes is to the Kenyan in the White House. Jimmy sends Thank-You notes regularly to express his gratitude that he's no longer the worst president in history. Jimmy is very polite.
