A Google Venture Capitalist vs. A Gaggle of Loony-Leftists

By Chris Rossini

Those who keep up with the tech world will recognize Kevin Rose, the founder of Digg and now venture capitalist at Google Ventures, in the video below.

Rose gets into quite the conversation with some loony-leftists.

My apologies if this makes your stomach turn.

The lefties, of course, fail to mention The Fed, or San Francisco's restrictive construction regulations. Sadly, Rose didn't have those answers for them either.

Rose is worth millions. He's an innovator and go-getter. However, just as Google provides many services for FREE, here's a FREE resource for Rose so that he can better combat these progress haters:

It's called The Ludwig Von Mises Institute.

  1. Why God, why?! Why are those poor coffee servers FORCED to use Androids because "that's the world they live in!" Oh those poor souls. If only they could live in a world where they didn't have to use Androids, like you know, 10 years ago.

    Progressives really don't like change.

  2. Wow. Lemme at em! What a fantastic microcosm of a society that rejects it's own motor. This brings to mind Atlas Shrugged.

  3. Leftitst prefer to view people as symbols of organizations that they cannot gain access to. Because they cannot gain access to Google by applying for a job or because they would somehow feel like they would be selling out to their Social Justice friends, well, then they just bitch to anyone who will listen. What did George Carlin say about symbol-minded people? https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=dDw-zFFhFgc#t=140. The whole social justice narrative is one that is built on envy. And blame others for their helplessness. It's socializing personal responsibility. They don't always see themselves as individuals but more like members of a club, a bitter club. One day they will wake up to personal sovereignty and get things done. Until then they'll look for accomplished folks and try in their Krugman-like way to demolish individuals.

  4. There's so much here it's difficult to even know where to start:

I guess the putzes think they'll get paid to do nothing if there's no one for them to "serve coffee to."

If they create a place where putzes can't afford to live, that's probably a good thing.

  5. Kevin Rose is part of the looney left as well which would explain why he has no answers.

Curiously in 2008 he listed Ron Paul and Obama as his two favorite candidates. http://gawker.com/342261/kevin-rose-supports-ron-paul-barack-obama

    1. Yup. These leftists just need to: point...click...type www.mises.org...enter...read. There. Their problem would be solved. He'd actually start learning some economics.

  6. Wow. Count the number of times the word "like" is used. Hippies arguing with techie hipster, very low-brow to say the least.

"We're just like slaves, who like, bring you coffee? Like, come on man, like, like..."
"You guys are using an android phone."
"We like have no choice. Like, what are we supposed to do?"

Apparently these r-tards can't fathom NOT having a cell phone. Wow, life's pretty rough out in SF. Sorry hippies, next stop: Portland.

  7. What do you want to bet the guy who thinks he has "no choice" about having an Android phone believes taxes are voluntary?

    1. It's bad enough to be upset over first world problems, let alone imagined first world problems.

  9. restrictive construction regulations? so we get rid of the construction regulations, fractional reserve banking and the Fed. Now who is going to finance the new construction in SF? Answer is it won't get financed and there will be no construction.

-- Now who is going to finance the new construction in SF? Answer is it won't get financed and there will be no construction. --

Why would do you worry about it then, JW? Wouldn't that mean we would have no "over-construction" alongside "overcrowding", like you said SF would have sans regulations? Problem solved!

You jump all over the place, never seem to have your ducks in a row. Normally, rants like that indicate an unfocused mind, like that of your run-of-the-mill proggies.

  10. Like, Robert, like why are you showing this video that, like, highlights the ignorance of, like, the youth of San Francisco?

  11. Right Jerry, because there is only one way to do things. And when you something your doing keeps producing a bad outcome, you just need to keep doing it until you get a different results. There is a reason the ultra wealthy are all support the left. Its this kind of thinking that allows them to sleep at night knowing their fortunes are safe. Must maintain the status quo at all costs.

    1. The Idiot Left ALWAYS loves to double down on stupidity. It's incredibly laughable but their envy, ignorance, and pride won't let them think any other way.
