Coming up on the KUOW Speakers Forum, April 17 at 9:00 p.m Pacific Time.
Kshama Sawant is the first socialist on Seattle’s City Council. Last year, she ran on a campaign platform of raising the minimum wage to $15, taxing the wealthy and rent control.
She spoke with The Stranger’s Charles Mudede about why now is the time for socialism in Seattle.
You can listen to it here.
I'll be happy to listen to her plans on how she intends to create a business that follows all the tenants of socialism that she wants to force onto others, but listening to how she intends to use the government to steal other people's property, no thanks. That takes no skill or knowledge at all.
ReplyDeleteYou would think at this point in human history, anyone calling themselves a socialist would be akin to calling themselves a member of the Flat Earth Society.

ReplyDeleteAnd she may be right. It is time for Seattleites to learn their lesson good and hard, because they can't seem to comprehend history or learn from someone else's painful experience.

DeleteI'm afraid so. Most people have to learn the hard way. And even then many of them won't learn.
I'd love to see her interviewed on the tom woods show or the rw show.
