Shoe Thrown at Hillary Clinton During Keynote Speech

Hillary Clinton had to duck when a shoe was thrown at her while she was delivering remarks at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries conference in Las Vegas.

  2. That's 0 for 3 now. Who knew politicians had such great reflexes?

    1. Oh come now, the average politician has years of experience and practice at ducking responsibility, dodging accountability, and deflecting blame. Avoiding a flying shoe or two is child's play for a politician, who possesses a flexible cartilaginous spine. Bimbo erruptions, cattle futures, Rose Law Firm billing, Whitewater etc., Hillary is a champion dodger.

What's really funny is how much she looks like Mike Myers' Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movie in this pic.

  3. It's nice to see our masters have to do a little bobbing and weaving now and then, it's good for their egos. Maybe her and Bush can get together and swap war stories now, they are basically the same archetype anyway.

It's also kind of tough to order a drone strike on someone in a crowd on US soil right for now. Too bad for her it wasn't someone chanting "Death to America" over on foreign soil. It could have been all sewn up with a few minutes if that was the case, and with no headlines!

  4. That's awesome! More of our political elites need shoes thrown at them.

  5. Somebody needs to rethink their media image. I would think that the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries would want to project a modern forward thinking industry, why would they want to be associated with an old backwards thinking politician?

  6. Here's why:

"ISRI PAC, on your behalf, provides contributions to the campaigns of members of Congress or candidates seeking federal elective office who have demonstrated a willingness to support recycling and ISRI's federal legislative and regulatory agenda."

  7. She did not duck it. The shoe went errantly by and then she finally noticed and crouched away. She thought it was a bat. Honestly, this is a decisive point: I used to think there was nobody worse than Bush, but the only thing I ever liked that he did was dodge a shoe. The witch didn't dodge, she hair got missed and then panicked. Nobody would throw a shoe at Ron Paul, but I bet he still could dodge it.

  8. She went on to ridicule the shoe thrower by saying her aim may have been better if she had like Clinton herself played softball. Who could have guessed Hillary Clinton was a female softball player?

    1. Maybe Clinton never learned to recognize a brushback pitch.
