When I was in law school, [my daughter] Amelia and I had been buddies. She allowed me to believe that a life combined inside and outside--family and not family--could actually work. But [my son] Alex cried for hours at a time, turning red and sweating and seeming to be furious at my inability to fix whatever was wrong. Once I started teaching, mornings were torture. Alex knocked his cereal bowl across the room and cried when I dressed him. He kicked me while I tried to fasten him in his car seat...He was heavy and strong for a toddler. I was outmatched.

From a Very Early Age, It Appears Males Have a Problem with Elizabeth Warren

ReplyDeleteGodspeed !
Elizabeth Warren outmatched by a toddler. Seems right.
ReplyDeleteWhat I hate about these idiotic politician biographies is not whether they try to promote one stupid agenda over another, but it's the narcissism. They fill the pages with personal stories as if there is some grand lesson or moral to be learned from their lives.
ReplyDeleteWonder if she has a problem with her son. If my mom wrote something like that about me, even if it were a long time ago, I would just die. It would be one thing for a sibling to do this but a mother is another. She made him out to be a crybaby.
ReplyDeleteShe IS a supporter of baby killing, aka abortion. Makes sense to me.
DeleteShe chose a career over raising him, split up with his Dad and had to call in her Aunt to raise him. Could have something to do with it.
DeleteMay God help this country, because the next presidential race is going to be worse than ever.
I agree with her views on protecting consumers from evil financial institutions. She wants to put the Banksters in a head-lock and twist hard and I think that's exactly what is needed. The financial institutions have brought the world to the brink of total ruin - they need their asses kicked and she is willing to do it. I say let her loose on 'em.
ReplyDeleteBut where did the banksters get all the cheap money with which to speculate, then use some of the proceeds to bribe politicians for bailouts?
DeleteMoonbat Warren's "solution" for the "banksters" is to actually perpetuate the original problem: government interventionism.
DeleteIf it wasn't for the creation of government controlled monopoly central banking in the form of the Federal Reserve we would have "banksters" who have had the moral hazard totally removed from their decision making because they can always count on their government conspiritors (folks like St. Warren) to bail them out.
Nope, more "regulation" of the Warrens of the world is EXACTLY what the banksters of the world want to snuff out whatever vestiges of independent wealth production and savings left.
Oh, please don't tell me something moronic either like "the Fed is a private bank" or some such crap. Any monopoly that was put in place by government legislation and sustained only by the violence of government agents IS a government run entity.
Seems like she was forcing him to do things he didn't want to do.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.
