Rand Paul Meets With Crony Wall Street

There are many good guys on Wall Street who mind their own business and do good and necessary financial work. Then there are the bad guys, who seek government favor and influence at every turn. Sadly, Rand Paul is all about the bad guys.

Ben White at CNBC reports that Rand "has already met in New York with small groups of bankers from Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Blackstone, The Carlyle Group and many other blue-chip financial institutions....Bankers across Wall Street often say privately that they like Paul's unique brand and energy but are skeptical that he can maintain his outsider, populist image while also ingratiating himself with Wall Street. 'When you've got one foot on either side of a giant chasm, you are likely to fall in,' one senior executive said."
