Messing with border control and DUI checkpoints is somewhere between anarchistic calisthenics and low-level direct confrontation. The likely ramifications are not very severe and they certainly fall well within Saul Alinsky's rule ( SEE: On Getting Thrown In Jail as a Method of Political Protest) of never doing anything that will throw you in jail for more than two to three months. That said, I personally wouldn't confront in a situation like this, but I certainly don't have a problem with those who do.
