OMG Rand Paul Now Supports the RLJ Rule

Robert L. Johnson, founder and chairman of The RLJ Companies and founder of Black Entertainment Television has announced that Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) has introduced Senate Resolution 511 (S. Res. 511) in support of The RLJ Rule (modeled after the National Football League's Rooney Rule) to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. Rand Paul has come out in support of the resolution.

The RLJ Rule encourages companies to voluntarily establish a best practices policy to: (1) interview a minimum of two qualified minority candidates for managerial openings at the director level and above before making a hire; and, (2) to interview at least two qualified minority-owned businesses for supplier/services before awarding a vendor contract.

Yeah, it is voluntary, but businesses should simply be allowed to hire and interview whom ever they want, not those Rand Paul encourages businesses to hire. And why the hell should Congress be butting in on this goofy rule for anyway?

Wake me up when Rand has a fat, ugly, black woman sitting behind him, instead of the hot babes I always see sitting behind him.

There are plenty more. I don't have a pic, but you should see the one that blogs for him at events where he speaks.
