On the Subpoena Google Has Received in Relation to the Developing Ron Paul Inc. Scandal

A person familiar with the subpoena that Google received, requiring Google to  turn over emails from certain individuals associated with the secret payoffs to Kent Sorenson   (SEE: BREAKING: Kent Sorenson Pleads Guilty to Concealing Ron Paul Campaign Payoff),  and other possible illegal activities by Ron Paul Inc. operatives,  tells me, "You have to realize the subpoena was not just for emails from one or two accounts. The list is an entire page long of Google accounts that the government has subpoenaed to get access to emails." MANY Ron Paul Inc. operatives emails accounts are included on the list. I have previously reported that the government had subpoenaed Ron Paul's emails. (SEE:  Ron Paul and Michelle Bachmann Emails Obtained By Investigators Via Subpoenas)

The developing scandal is going well beyond Kent Sorenson and Dmitri Kesari. They may not get Rand Paul, but from what I am hearing, he will likely get caught in the crossfire.

It appears that certain illegal activity may have occurred during the 2010 Rand Paul Senate campaign. I doubt Rand knew about it, but disclosures of the activity will certainly bloody him and libertarian-haters are going to have a filed day.

BTW: The DOJ lawyers on the investigation are the same ones that took down the very powerful Jack Abramoff. These guys likely report directly to Attorney General Eric Holder and are not in this to just nail small fish like Sorenson and Kesari.
