For very personal reasons, Robin's death has hit me hard. I'm mourning the love of my life, gone a year ago, with his birthday and memorial tomorrow.
We watched "The Bird Cage" 20 times.
That said, watch this video at the link- it's a roast of Richard Pryor, and Robin and Sandra Bernhardt are hysterically anti-PC. The race jokes, the flat nose quips, the whole tone- these were fearless and funny in the days before "PC" became the norm.
Can you imagine a white comedian using "N****er" in a roast of a black celebrity today?
