The Twentieth Century's Bloodiest Megamurderers

Via Death By Government by R.J. Rummel

1. Joseph Staling 42 million mudered

2 .Mao Tse-tung   38 million

3. Adolph Hitler    21 million

4. Chiang Kai-shek 10 million

5. Lenin                4 million

6. Tojo Hideki     4 million

7, Pol Pot              2 million

8. Yahya Kahn      1.5 million

9. JosipBroz Tito   1 million

  1. Lincoln would likely make that list with today's figures, which never seem to stop rising.

How about the FDR, Churchill, and Truman partners in crime? Just the atomic bombs and firebombing of German cities killed about 300,000 people. Pretty disgusting that the number is so high that I have to say "about" when referring to innocent people because several thousand deaths is a rounding error.

Estimates for victims of Mao go up to 80 million and for "Uncle Joe" Stalin, 60 million.

I'm not sure that counts wars, either, but don't look behind that curtain! Then the US imperialists claiming, "We stopped Hitler," would have to admit, "We built Stalin."

4% of the WWII budget went directly to the Soviet Union through Lend-Lease, some of it before the bill was even passed. Don't look behind that curtain, either!

10% went to the UK, much of which was then funneled to Churchill's comrades:

"Between June 1941 and May 1945 3,000+ Hurricanes were delivered to the USSR along with 4,000+ other aircraft, 5,000+ tanks, 5,000+ anti-tank guns and 15 million pairs of boots in total 4 million tonnes of war materials including food and medical supplies were delivered. The returning ships carried the gold that the USSR was using to pay the US."

I especially like how they couldn't make their own boots.

You can add, "We built Hitler," too, now that we know Prescott Bush and the Fed's primary dealer banks were funding and even directly aiding the Nazis all the way from their rise to power until at least 1942:

"A French government commission, investigating the seizure of Jewish bank accounts during the Second World War, says five American banks Chase Manhattan, J.P Morgan, Guaranty Trust Co. of New York, Bank of the City of New York and American Express had taken part."

  2. this list is biased toward dictatorships. We need a "death per year per government" trend stat.

  3. The irony of Pol Pot is that he would have never gotten a foothold in Cambodia if it weren't for the Americans who bombed the Khmer people back into the stone age.

  4. "Estimates for victims of Mao go up to 80 million and for "Uncle Joe" Stalin, 60 million."

    Doesn't mean they're credible estimates.
