DONE: Obama to Nominate Former Board Member of the New York Fed as Attorney General

President  Obama is expected to nominate Loretta Lynch for attorney general, CNN reported Friday, citing U.S. officials briefed on the matter. Lynch is currently the U.S. attorney in New York's eastern district and would if confirmed replace Eric Holder at the Justice Department.

As I pointed out yesterday, Lynch is a former member of the Board of Directors of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. (SEE: Next Attorney General May Be a Former Member of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York)
