Gary North on Karl Marx

1 comment:

  1. This is my favorite lecture by Dr. North, followed by his talk from ASRC a few years ago about compounding growth since 1800. I listen to it at least once a year. The most important bit is the analysis at the end about the shifting strategy of Marxism, it's failure to capture it's desired demographic, and the discussion vis a vis the Jesuits and the Catholic Church.

Dr. North's a powerful and eloquent speaker, practically overflowing with esoteric and obscure tid bits of historical information in his mind. His various critics can't even come close to his level of mastery of so many areas of thought.

All of the other lectures from this Mises Circle in 1988(!) are available except Murray Rothbard's. A shame.
