Cowen is absolutely correct here.
The Syriza party that now is in control of the Greek government is a radical left party that is just dying to intervene in the economy, which, of course, will only make matters worse for most in the country.
Further, I fully expect the new government to break its promise to stand up to eurozone banksters, The government wants new bankster money too desperately interfere in the economy and "manage" it. They will sell out and keep the bankster albatross around the necks of the Greek people.

They are supposedly socialists, and yet they have no intentions of actually implementing and living under a socialist economy. IMO, like nearly all Socialist parties in Europe, they sold out their beliefs long ago as like most socialists, they are smart enough to know that true socialism leads to mass poverty. While they may profess to hate capitalism, its absolutely clear by their intentions and actions that they love the wealth capitalism creates for them to tax and squander on their socially and economically destructive programs.

They are adhering to true Socialist ideology: to go as far and fly as high as (other people's) hard work, talent and money will take them.
