Robert Wenzel on the State of the Economy

  1. Robert, in the interview you say that the Fed is telegraphing it's game plan and if you simply read what Yellen et al. are saying you can understand when they will raise rates. But hasn't the Fed already moved the goal posts that it is using to make that decision on multiple occasions? Why should we believe the data dependent points now?

  2. Can someone supply some quick numbers or a graph, for the annual deficit and national debt increase (per annum) for each basis point raised?
    That's gotta be a disincentive for the Fed (duh) to raise 'em.
