JPMorgan Vice Chairman Has Died

JPMorgan Vice Chairman Jimmy Lee has died.

The company has released the following:

"It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I inform you that our beloved friend and colleague, Jimmy Lee, unexpectedly passed away this morning. Our prayers and thoughts are with his wife Beth, his three children, Lexi, Jamie and Izzy, and his entire family, whom he dearly loved. Jimmy was a great friend, leader and mentor to me and so many others. As Vice Chairman of our company and former head of our Investment Bank, Jimmy made an indelible and invaluable contribution to our company, our people, our clients and our industry over his nearly 40 years of dedicated and selfless service. Jimmy was a master of his craft, but he was so much more – he was an incomparable force of nature," JPMorgan Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon said in a statement.
Lee, a major league bankster, led the J.P. Morgan teams in the $41 billion common stock sale of the U.S. Treasury’s ownership of AIG, resulting from the U.S. Government’s bailout of the company. He also led the negotiations with the U.S. Treasury for the financial restructuring of Chrysler

He also executed private market deals such as the $25 billion Alibaba IPO, the largest IPO in history; the $23 billion General Motors IPO, the second largest U.S. IPO; and the IPO of The Carlyle Group, and co-led the IPOs of Facebook and Twitter.

  2. Impossible for me to shed a tear for multiple reasons. Including that I can't afford Kleenex any more thanks to the printed money bailouts co-orchestrated by Jimmy Lee.

Not to mention those people who are not around anymore to shed tears for him because they couldn't get a job and afford medical care thanks to the economic crash he fostered for his multi-million dollar paychecks.

I would say may god have mercy on his soul, but I fancy the thought Jimmy may be residing in a more toasty locale.
