Supreme Court Continues to Rule in Favor of Socialist Medicine in America

Based on a document called The Constitution, which was designed to keep government small and out of the lives of individuals, these black robed characters in a 6-3 vote ruled that the Obama administration can continue to subsidize health-insurance purchases by lower-income Americans across the country, a decision that preserves a centerpiece of the Affordable Care Act.


The ruling was written by Chief Justice John Roberts. Joining Roberts were Justices Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. Dissenting were Justices Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

“Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them,” Chief Justice Roberts wrote in a 21-page opinion, which sounds like it came straight out of Mussolini economics.

    Its tempting to call these people sociopaths or mentally handicapped as I sometimes do but the voters who elect/appoint people to positions of power and expect them to act in the interest of the voters who elected them while ignoring their own greed and selfish interests is where the actual mentally handicapped reside. Stop being a voter, start being a responsible individual and improve your mental health.

    "The Constitution, which was designed to keep government small and out of the lives of individuals..." I have come to believe this is not true. It was a document designed to create a strong central government able to force the repayment of war debt. The "Continental" Congress wasn't called such because we spanned the continent. It was called that because they were getting together to decide what to do about the worthless paper currency they had created. The bill of rights was added to sway those who understood.

    Doesn't this show how economically and historically illiterate Roberts appears to be? Once can not understand both and claim that government can improve markets. In fact, government does the opposite of a free market. It destroys free markets.
