  1. I think the Alaska view is not right. Just based on what I have witnessed.
    I bought a couple acres for $52,000 in 2006 and today it is supposedly worth $115,000.
    My property taxes have gone up for my home by $3,000 a year in the last 7 years based on "property value".
    Alaska has bs property values to say the least. Especially when it comes to property taxes.
    Doesn't help when the borough assembly men are realtors.
    And there are the military bases that give false property and rental values.
    Alaska is going to fall, and very, very hard.
    Can't wait.
