Market Watch explains:
Amazon.com Inc. plans to leave Black Friday in the dust.
With an announcement on Monday that read “Step Aside Black Friday — Meet Prime Day,” Amazon revealed that on July 15 it would be launching a huge sale that would be bigger than Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in which many retailers roll out massive sales.
The company says that “Prime Day is a one-day only event filled with more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members around the globe.” Prime membership gives consumers two-day free shipping on many purchases, unlimited streaming of many books, music, movies and more.

When they reverse their ban on the battle flag I'll restart my Prime but I cancelled it two weeks ago over that idiotic stunt.
ReplyDeleteA clever conception, but will it work on consumers without the holidays as justification for their indebtedness?
