They Got Him: Greek PM Tsipras Resigns

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has announced his resignation.

The banksters hated this lefty, even though he delivered, and pushed through the Greek government, on a bankster designed oppressive bailout plan.

In fact, Tsipras effectively lost his parliamentary majority after a rebellion by hardliners in his Syriza party who oppose the deal that was struck with the banksters.

With the earlier departure of Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, the two players that gave the banksters the most difficulty in negotiations are now gone.

It is unclear what kind of government will emerge in new elections, expected in September or, the latest, October. The possibility of a bankster tool emerging does exist, but it is far from a certainty.

The masses are not happy campers.

  1. The problem with Rothbardian anarchism is that Ron Paul types are not willing to present themselves as a political option to the public. The Misesian Party was designed to be that vehicle. Mises was right, anarcho-capitalism is a broken model.

    1. Yada yada yada. Statism, even of the minarchist variety, is logically inconsistent. You cannot have equal rights if you have State, and if you do not accept the notion of equal rights, you don't have any standing to object to Nazis or any kind of tyranny imaginable.

An-cap position at least is not self-contradictory.

  2. Maybe he had an Ashley Madison account?

  3. lol. they didn't get him. He's calling new elections so he can kick out the rebels in his party and get reelected with a more centrist platform. It's a simple play in a parliamentary system, really.
