Bernie Sanders in Favor of $15 Minimum Wage, Re-Establish Glass-Steagall

During his interview with Wolf Blitzer, Bernie Sanders tip toes around his full commie views by "only" calling for popular interventions, an increase in the minimum wage and the re-establishment of Glass-Steagall.

    1. Yeah. What amazes me is that people always fall for that. Then it happens again and their solution? Even more regulation. And this goes on and on and these idiots never seem to learn. How close in front of their faces does it have to be before they go, "DUH!". Sheesh!

  2. There are what, maybe 500-600 billionaires in the US and he's going to create tax policy around them? Yeah right! At the end of the day this is simply code speak for sticking it to upper middle class people and closing the door even further on middle class economic mobility into the ranks of the wealthy. I feel so bad for my children that may end up living in a world of his or Trumps making. Both of these nuts frighten me more than the establishment politicians.

  3. $15 an hour for 40 hours x 52 weeks = $31,200.00

There will be no full time jobs that pay less than $31,200.00. Only a mean-spirited meanie could be against that.

    1. The best retort I have seen was that "a job that doesn't pay a living wage should not exist."

How is that for the unemployment problem? Ha!

    2. My response to that is to agree, and point out that it's all the taxes that make it impossible to live off of $X/hr.

How was it that people afforded houses and cars since the 50s, with 10%+ left over for savings? What changed over that period of time? Did houses and cars become rarer? Or was it payroll taxes, property taxes, and, oh yeah, the inflation tax?

It works whether you're just answering the question of a curious person, or debunking the Sanders types that are full of it.

Sanders loves poor people so much, he could never make enough of them.
