Michelangelo's 16th-Century Tuscan Villa is On the Market

Italian Renaissance painter Michelangelo's Tuscan villa is on the market for €7,500,000 (about $8.06 million), according to Top Ten Real Estate Deals.

The home was likely purchased by a 72-year-old Michelangelo in 1549, about five years before the artist's passing, says TTRED.

The 12,915-square-foot, eight bedroom stone house is located on more than six acres atop the Tuscan hills. The three-story structure includes an "ancient tower, believed to date back to the 11th century."
