US House Prices Continue to Soar

U.S. house prices rose 1.1% in April, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller 20-City Index

Compared to the same period a year ago, prices rose 5.4%.

No city had a monthly decline, and before seasonal adjustment, all but six had stronger monthly increases in April than in March.

This is not what a recession looks like.
