. . . against socialism in Bolivia, where miners protesting the nationalization of their mines recently murdered a government minister. I certainly don’t condone such barbaric behavior. But these working men have realized that without capitalism it is impossible to raise the capital required for modern-day mining, and they are tired of being told to do the job with pick axes and shovels, like slaves building the pyramids. They want to cast off the chains of socialism, in other words. I pray that they will succeed.
