Trump Open to Raising Tax on Gasoline

Here it comes.

As I have warned, Trump tax cuts will result in taxes increases elsewhere.

Trump said he’s willing to raise the U.S. gasoline tax to fund infrastructure development and called the tax-overhaul plan he released last week the beginning of negotiations.

“It’s something that I would certainly consider,” Trump said Monday in an interview with Bloomberg News in the Oval Office, describing the idea as supported by truckers “if we earmarked money toward the highways.”

He also repeated his call for a “reciprocal tax,” which would be aimed at imposing levies on imports to match the rates that each country charges on U.S. exports.

Trump's tax "cuts" are a scam, They are the mere shifting of the point of taxation coupled with an increase in budget deficits.

This year's earmark is next year's bag of cash to spend however Congress wants. That's the way it ALWAYS works: "We're gonna have'ta Reprioritize our Spending for This-New-Emergency we just conjured up."

Trump's being taken to the cleaners again and they're handing him the bill.
