Economics tells us that a gender pay gap emerging in a country is highly unlikely since profit-oriented entrepreneurs would hire those that are underpaid and drive their wages up.
From a different perspective, in the clip below Jordan Peterson questions the methodology of empirical studies which claim to show a gender pay gap does exist.
