Who Knew? The Guy Who Wrote the Famed Rice-a-Roni Jingle Owns a Multi-Million Dollar San Francisco Mansion

The famed Chenery House in San Francisco, occupying a full city block and with an indoor swimming on the second floor is for sale for $8.5 million.

The total compound consists of 9,966 square feet of living space as well as an indoor-outdoor swimming pool with a glass retractable roof and a four-car carport, plus more parking in the driveway for up to 15 cars.

According to The San Francisco Chronicle, the house is owned by Bob Pritikin.

Pritikin was an adman in both New York and Los Angeles and made a fortune after writing the famed Rice-a-Roni jingle in the 1950s.

Whoever says you need money to make money doesn't get. all you need to do is see the opportunity in full bloom and act on what you see---even if it is "just" a jingle.
