Paul Volcker, at 91, Lets It Rip

Paul Volcker is clearly a big government guy and is in despair.

“We’re in a hell of a mess in every direction,” he tells The New York Times.

“Respect for government, respect for the Supreme Court, respect for the president, it’s all gone,” he said. “Even respect for the Federal Reserve."

“And it’s really bad. At least the military still has all the respect. But I don’t know, how can you run a democracy when nobody believes in the leadership of the country?”

In other words, he thinks like a basic commoner pulled from the masses. He wants different government influences and not realizing that #PPS is the solution, not a different government rule.

  1. What has the government done to earn people's respect?

    1. It hasn't even killed as many people as the military, which thank heavens still has respect...

    2. I have reviled it all since 1973 and know beyond a shadow of a doubt us govt will never earn the respect of anyone with discerning intelligence.

  2. Good for him. Maybe by the time I'm his age I won't get so embarrassed by minor social faux pas.
