Here’s a Don Boudreaux letter to the Wall Street Journal:

I’m surprised by this subheading to your series of letters on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gives socialism a bad name” (Feb. 26).

Socialism, at least among informed people, earned a bad name long ago as result of the tyranny and crushing poverty with which it is always associated. A sober understanding of socialism’s evils did not have to await the appalling economic ignorance and political silliness displayed by AOC.
