Central Banks Are Moving Away From U.S. Dollars and Toward Gold


Prof. Steve Hanke writes:

Global gold reserves through the first quarter of 2019 are up 68% from 2018, with Russia leading the way. Countries are reducing their dependence on the dollar, as sanctions and tariffs have made it more risky. The dollar’s top spot is threatened.
