Trump's Trade Wars Expand to India

India  Prime Minister Narendra Modi
India has responded to the Combover bully.

It announced late Saturday that it would raise tariffs on 28 categories of imports from the United States.

The increased tariffs, on $1.4 billion of goods, went into effect Sunday morning in India and cover almonds, walnuts, apples and finished metal items, among other products, reports The New York Times.

At the end of May, President Trump announced he was revoking a preferential trade status for more than $5 billion in imports from India. This is the response from the republic.

Trump and India’s recently re-elected prime minister, Narendra Modi, are scheduled to meet at the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan at the end of June.

  1. I have Indian friends. I do think India deserves better treatment from Trump. They could be an ally in a conflict with the capitalistic commies in China.
