Trump Reverses Says He Is No Longer Considering Tax Cuts

President Trump backed away from pursuing new tax cuts to bolster the U.S. economy, a sharp reversal from a day earlier, when he had described several such measures the White House was contemplating, reports The Wall Street Journal.

“I just don’t see any reason to,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House when asked if he was pursuing any tax cuts. “We don’t need it. We have a strong economy.”

Just remember, I cheered combover man when the possibility of a cut in the payroll tax was on the table (See: Cutting the Payroll Tax: Will Trump Give the Order?).

But he doesn't give you a lot to support over time.

Trump is kind of a presidential Yogi Bera, who once said, "I never said most of the things I said."

  1. From a friend after I sent him this article, “Brilliant move on Trumps part, his retraction is genius. ‘We don’t need it, we already have a good economy’.
He introduced the card, then withdraws it, but has it for future play.
Which is all it is to The Great Orange, like all politicians, theft of the wealth of others is just a game.
