Southern California Gas Prices Soar Past $4 Per Gallon

Gasoline prices are soaring in Southern California.



Some of the SoCal price gains have to do with the recent attack on Saudi oil refineries but there are other local factors as reported in the clip above.

Gas Buddy reports that nationwide
prices climbed after the attack by about 15 cents a gallon and hit as high as $2.67 per gallon before pulling back a bit to the $2.65 range after Saudi production came back on line.

Still, I expect gasoline to generally trend higher as price inflation pressures intensify.
