It is pretty stunning that, in early 21st century America, legislation is required to allow kids the ability to operate a lemonade stand without police harassment, but that is the situation in many states.
The states covered in yellow in the chart below all have some sort of regulation against kids operating lemonade stands.

Neil Parrott (R-Washington County) and Steve Johnson (D-Harford County) have introduced H.B. 52, which would bar counties and municipalities from banning or regulating “the sale of lemonade or other nonalcoholic beverages by minors from a stand on private property.” (The makers of Country Time lemonade, in a brilliant marketing stroke, have launched a campaign to defend kids busted for this activity; more at Overlawyered)..
A great idea, may the revolution against lemonade stand regulations spread across the land.
Perhaps, next, we could have a revolution against the minimum wage "for people who can't find a job at or above the minimum wage."

I know that "rights" don't emanate from the Constitution. But it would've been nice if the Founders had thought of one additional inclusion in the Bill of Rights: "Consensual trade and contractual transactions between individuals or groups shall not be infringed upon."
