Yesterday, I posted an article reporting that left-wing nutjob, New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer, has announced he is running for mayor of the city.
At present, he has raised the most campaign funds, $2.3 million. This is not good.
But it appears that most of his challengers are lefties also.
They include City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, former commissioner of Veteran Services Loree Sutton, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, former city Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia and former counsel to the mayor, Maya Wiley.
I doubt any of these people have a clue as to how to fix a city that is so broken. Any one of them would likely make things even worse.
This makes James Altucher's commentary about New York being dead forever appear all that much more accurate.

Note well: He uses actual numbers and logic to explain his case. Maybe he should run for mayor.
I have to say ... James's original article seemed like a thought piece and I didnt think he targeted the people of the city at all.

Though he offers solutions NY will not ever be the way it was. The socio-economic considerations just cant be overcome in a timely manner.
Altucher run for mayor? He won't get past first base since he makes too much sense. They will probably dig up some twatter tweet from long ago and make a big deal about it.
