Yellen Made Millions in Speaking Fees After Leaving Fed

Janet Yellen

This is what happens when you don't rattle the cage when in power and behave like a good elitist tool.

Janet Yellen, President-elect Joe Biden’s pick for Treasury secretary, collected more than $7 million in speaking fees during more than 50 in-person and virtual engagements over the past two years, according to financial disclosures released Thursday, reports The Wall Street Journal.

The former Federal Reserve chair received speaking fees from  Citi, Goldman Sachs, Google, City National Bank, UBS, Citadel LLC, Barclays, Credit Suisse and Salesforce, among others.

  1. That should help her personal wealth keep ahead of the price inflation to which she contributed.

  2. I cannot imagine paying one clad (or silver, for that matter) dime to hear her speak. What a waste of money.

  3. She would have been paid those bribes even if NOBODY showed up to hear her blabber on and on about things of which she knows nothing! She could have stood there and baahed like a sheep for an hour, and she still would have been paid! It's NOT about any special knowledge or insight she has about things financial, she did her stint as the mouthpiece of the Fed, spewing garbage that she was told to say, and this was her "pay" for that! There wasn't any price of admission paid to hear her drivel, was there?
