Geithner in Saudi Arabia

Following a full day in London, Treasury Secretary Geithner will be in Saudi Arabia todayfor a series of meetings with senior government officials and business leaders.

In the morning, the Secretary will participate in a roundtable discussion with Saudi business leaders at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.

The Secretary will then travel to Yanbu for meetings with King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the Minister of Finance H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf. In addition to the official meetings, at the invitation of the King, the Secretary will attend a ceremony showcasing a series of economic development and infrastructure projects "that are central to the Saudi government's fiscal stimulus efforts."

Following the visit to Yanbu, Geithner will return to Jeddah and depart in the late evening for Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
