Treasury Secretary Geithner will be in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a series of meetings with senior government officials and business leaders on Wednesday.
In the morning, Geithner will join HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, for a breakfast event hosted by the U.S.-UAE Business Council.
In the afternoon, Secretary Geithner will meet with UAE Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed, Central Bank Governor HE Sultan Bin Nasser Al-Suwaidi and Deputy Finance Minister HE Younis Khouri. Secretary Geithner will also meet with Abu Dhabi Investment Council Managing Director HE Khalifa Al Kindi and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Managing Director HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
