Serious plotting gets located this weekend in Armonk, NY where the Symposium on Building the Financial System of the 21st Century: An Agenda for Japan and the United (Pdf) takes place.
The name of the symposium tells you enough about what is going on here. They really don't even try to hide anymore what they are up to.
It is hosted by the Harvard Law School Program on International Financial Systems.
On Saturday evening, Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin will speak.
In addition to the Treasury, the Fed had a representative, as does JP Morgan, Rockefeller & Co. and, of course, Goldman Sachs.
