At 10am, Treasury Secretary Geithner will testify before the Congressional Oversight Panel. With authority to make new commitments through the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) expiring in October, Secretary Geithner will highlight that Treasury is well on its way to shutting down the program.
Later, Secretary Geithner will attend a meeting of the U.S.-India CEO Forum at the State Department to discuss bilateral trade and investment issues with business leaders from the United States and India.
Later in the afternoon, Secretary Geithner will join the President for a Cabinet Meeting at the White House.
