What the government giveth, the government will eventually take away. The U.K. government has hiked tuitions for college students by 300%. The police above are in response to student rioting in the city.
While the entire idea of government sponsored education is questionable, the bottom line is that governments are being squeezed by gross overspending and when governments gets squeezed, they squeeze the people.
This just a preview of what is likely to happen in the U.S.
