Polish Officials Propose Limits to Withdrawals from Pension System

A sign of the direction things will head in the U.S.?

It's only a stop-gap measure and not a permanent solution, but in order to improve the country's fiscal balances, Polish government officials have proposed changes to the pension system, limiting transfers to the private pension system.

This doesn't equate directly to the U.S. social security system, but it is an indication that current rules around government created pension funds don't mean a thing. The U.S. changes to SS will be much harsher.
