Sarkozy Calls for G-20 Regulation of Commodities

Well, it's clear French President Nicolas Sarkozy doesn't understand that setting price controls on a good below the free market price only causes shortages. Could someone please send him a link to Bob Murphy's online course on the basics of economics.

Sarkozy said regulation of commodity markets will be a priority as he leads the Group of 20 nations this year, and inaction may cause food rioting in the world’s poorest countries, according to Bloomberg.

Huh, what does he think shortages will do?

  1. We need to set more regulations on psychopath political parasites who refer to themselves as "Leaders".
