The Downgrade of U.S. Treasury Debt was Only the Warm Up Act

S&P plans to report on muni credits, other assets ‘later today’.

This could cause real pain for some munis and other entities.

Update: Reuters Insider is reporting that
announcements should be expected this morning about effects to corporations from S&P’s downgrade of U.S. credit rating, according to David Beers, head of S&P’s sovereign ratings.

  1. Everything the S&P does is being staged to get people to give up more of their earnings to the banker/political terrorist organization. The "protection racket" is in violent overdrive.

  2. They're downgrading Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as well.

Is Kerry and Axelrod still going to blather on about this being the "Tea Party" downgrade now?

Let's stop all the fingerpointing and just do what has been said countless times including the S&P's report: "Specifically, the report warns directly that a further downgrade to AA status could 'less reduction in spending' than what was agreed in the debt ceiling agreement.

Cut everything--particularly SS, Medicare and Medicaid---for anyone under 50 these should all fall to the states to manage. Sell off any non essential federal assets and property. Slash subsidies for everyone. Privatize damn near everything you can. Nullify any regulation deemed to adversely affect hiring and growth. Dissolve any fed agency that didn't exist prior to 1900. Get our armed forces out of Japan, Germany and South Korea. Cease all military operations in lands not officially declared by Congress as a war. Place recalled troops along the border with Mexico. Any one living within the US without proper documentation will not enjoy any aid or benefits of citizenship including ability to obtain employment. Employers who hire workers without such documentation will be fined severely and subject to random searches. All persons currently living in the US illegally will be given 6mos to pass a criminal background check, complete civics and language courses after which they will be granted citizenship. Failure to comply with those requirements in that time will get you a door slammed in your face everywhere you go for help.

    That's just for starters.

  3. Anon 12:02,

I don't think you understand state terrorism. It is never about "fixing" anything. To a terrorist, chaos brings power.
