Flying Helicopter Alarm Clock

File under: Free markets to the rescue.

It's hard to imagine that something like this would be developed in North Korea, Cuba or the old Soviet Union.

The Mini Helicopter actually flies 3 to 5 feet into the air when the alarm goes off and will will not shut off until you get up and and return it to the base.

I don't need one of these, the markets wake me up, and I hate the fact that I actually have to sleep, but I know there are a few of you out there, who could be reading EPJ a little earlier in the morning.

  6. I have 2 cell phones and 1 radio alarm clock. I always keep my 2nd cell phone in the next room so I get up to diffuse it in the mornings. The main cell & radio alarm - I keep next to my pillow so I hear them the first time.

  9. Of course if the government supplied us all with alarm clocks, nobody would oversleep.
