As long-time readers know, I decided to change my diet and fitness regimen six months ago. A lot of factors encouraged me to do this but I would single out reading Younger Next Year at the suggestion of a friend, along with the De Vany podcast and his book, The New Evolution Diet. On the diet side, I stopped eating potatoes, rice, pasta, bread, sweets, and desserts. I eat mostly protein, non-carb vegetables, and a reasonable amount of fruit.Of course, Lew Rockwell has been pushed down the memory hole, just like his friend and colleague, Murray Rothbard. But there is solid empirical evidence of where this movement started more than a year ago. And, we all know that for Kochtopi, LRC is a must read, even if it is only so they can get thoughtful direction on how to position themselves in the Koch-Crane feud.

I mentioned DeVany in the previos thread about LR but it's nice to see DeVany mentioned again; since I consider him a founder of the Evolutionary Fitness movement.
ReplyDeleteNever hurts he's also a free market economist too.
You're overdoing it - do you sincerely believe that Russ Roberts has a hidden agenda of not mentioning Lew Rockwell because he's "Koch-funded"? Come on.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, some people were reading DeVany and Sisson for a decade before Karen DeCoster mentioned them on Lew Rockwell's site.
ReplyDeleteJust because someone doesn't bow toward Auburn when mentioning the paleo lifestyle doesn't indicate some nefarious Koch-funded conspiracy.
